Jirotex develops and manufactures laminated materials and components that add function, properties and longevity to our customers’ products. We combine modern technology with solid experience to help our customers realise their ideas, from prototype to series production.
Since our founding in 1971, we have grown from a small family business into a stable partner across several industrial sectors.
The company has its roots in Furudahls Plast, where our first flame lamination machine was commissioned. (A machine that, in updated form, is still in use today.)
When the business merged with Jirotex in Getinge in 2001, the organisation that exists today was created. The combination of two companies with strong craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for the breadth that Jirotex has today — from large-volume projects in the automotive industry to highly specialised components for space and defence.
Both current and former management have worked their way up through the company. This has shaped a culture where the understanding of processes, materials, production and customer requirements runs deeper than drawings can show.
Several of our employees have been with us for decades, and their knowledge is one of our greatest strengths.
Whether it concerns large volumes or technically advanced product development, we build our relationships on trust and openness. We believe in sharing knowledge with our customers, suppliers and partners, in order to together find solutions that make a difference and last year after year.
