Working sustainably means, for us, taking responsibility for what we can influence. We continuously improve our processes, choose materials carefully and work with customers to create solutions that contribute to long service life and reduced environmental impact.

Part of the bigger picture

Jirotex is a permit-required operation (Category B) with responsibility for reducing emissions and optimising resources.

Through continuous investments, monitoring and independent inspections, we ensure that production maintains a high environmental standard.

When we cannot make the process entirely emission-free, we ensure that the products we manufacture contribute to something greater — such as sound dampening in public environments, energy efficiency in construction projects, or a better understanding of our planet through technology for the space industry.

Our priority areas

Products that last over time

Most products we manufacture are used for a long time, often as long as the end product itself. This applies, for example, to laminates for vehicles, furniture and construction, where service life is a crucial part of sustainability.

Customer support and shared responsibility

We also participate in research and development projects where sustainability is a natural part of the work.

We help our customers achieve their own sustainability goals.

Through the right material selection and documentation, we can contribute to customers’ products meeting requirements for, for example, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and Möbelfakta.

Looking ahead

Sustainability work at Jirotex is an ongoing process.

We continuously evaluate our impact and work to further reduce our carbon footprint, through energy projects, raw material efficiency and reduced production waste.
